Neighborhoods we work in
Sprinkler & landscape work across Brighton
Brighton is home base for Calaway Sprinkler. We repair and winterize systems for our neighbors across the city and program them to the City of Brighton's watering rules, which run through November 15 in 2026.
- Downtown Brighton
- Brighton Crossing
- Bromley Park
- Prairie Center area
- Southeast Brighton
Some Brighton-area homes are served by other water districts. Check your water bill to see which rules apply.
Brighton soil: clay and clay loam
Like much of Adams County, Brighton yards are largely clay and clay loam that absorb water slowly, so we split run times into shorter cycles to prevent pooling in gutters, which the city prohibits.
- ✓Cycle-and-soak scheduling
- ✓Low-application nozzles
- ✓Drip for beds and trees

Seasonal timing
The Brighton irrigation year
Brighton's restrictions extend past the usual season this year, so the timing of blowouts depends on whether you're establishing new sod.
- 1Spring: start-up and schedule for twice-weekly watering
- 2Summer: fix pooling and overspray
- 3October: sod permits available; plan new sod watering
- 4Fall: blowout after watering needs end, before hard freezes
