Xeriscape questions
Does a xeriscape need irrigation?
Most do while plants establish, and many benefit from light drip irrigation afterward. The difference is they need far less water than turf.
Can I replace part of my lawn with xeriscape?
Yes. Converting side yards, park strips, and slopes is a common first step, and the sprinkler zones in those areas are capped or converted to drip.
